Co-Mission Partner Programme (CoMP)

The Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) programme was developed to be the hands and feet of AsiaCMS’ engagement with local mission and church. It connects resources and walks alongside Asian mission workers who are selected and placed by their local church or mission agency – each embodying one or more dimensions of AsiaCMS’ 3-fold focus.

Each partnership operates over a six-year framework with two terms of three years each. Funds are raised specifically to support a partial personal allowance, freeing partners to focus on the ministry and building long-term sustainability. Rooted in collaborative, transdenominational spirit, the program reflects AsiaCMS’ deep conviction that enduring mission movements are locally led.

Meet Our Co-Mission Partners

Deepak* & Kareena* – South Asia 

Deepak and Kareena lead their congregation, mentor emerging leaders, and manage ministries with a shared vision to see lives restored through the compassion of Christ. Their hope is to serve individuals, families, and children from low-income backgrounds through personal outreach, educational support, nutrition, and spiritual guidance. 

Sooraj* & Nisha* – South Asia 

Sooraj and Nisha train pastors and lay leaders, empower women in ministry, and support children through informal English education. They also journey with isolated believer communities, fostering connection, growth, and resilience in faith. 

Rahul* – South Asia  

Rahul serves as registrar and Bible teacher at a holistic leadership development centre, offering certificate-to-degree level theological training in Nepali to church leaders without formal Bible school education. He develops contextual curricula, mentors educators, and equips pastors to understand Scripture clearly enabling them to serve their communities with greater faithfulness. 

Peter and Vasantha – India 

Peter and Vasantha seek to provide children with a moral and emotional anchor. They use their combined expertise in visual storytelling and psychology to create resources that help children understand their identity, navigate complex decisions, and find emotional health through the lens of Biblical truth. Vasantha has also pioneered a pregnancy helpline and a counselling program for single mothers. 

Dhana – Nepal 

Dhana serves as Executive Director of United Mission to Nepal (UMN), an organization that addresses the root causes of poverty and empowers marginalized communities. She builds relationships, nurtures compassionate leaders, and creates spaces where individuals and communities discover their identity, dignity, and purpose through the love of Christ. 

 Kumar and Kathryn – Nepal  

A cross-cultural couple from Nepal and the Philippines, Kumar and Kathryn serve together across theological training, church development, and community care. They equip lay pastors, build Christ-centred fellowships in remote areas, and walk alongside families facing poverty through medical camps, nutrition centres, and after-school programmes. 

Mugunthan – Sri Lanka 

Mugunthan believes God has a purpose for every individual and is committed to using his skills to uplift vulnerable communities from poverty. For the past 20 years, he has served with a mission-focused organization in a post-war context, providing educational support for children. 

Hannah* – Southeast Asia 

Hannah has dedicated her life to serving displaced and marginalized communities. As lead guardian of multiple shelter homes, she provides holistic care for around 40 residents through trauma-informed support, art therapy, discipleship, and social enterprises that foster dignity, practical skills, and greater self-sufficiency. 

Isaac – Malaysia 

Isaac serves low-income indigenous communities through evangelism, discipleship, and holistic transformation. He mobilizes churches, trains young people for cross-cultural mission, and works alongside local leaders to empower children, youth, and families spiritually, educationally, and economically. He believes that Christ’s fullness reaches every dimension of community life. 

Soo Lin* – Southeast Asia 

Soo Lin ministers to girls and women carrying trauma and pain, creating safe spaces where healing and dignity can take root. Through residential care, counselling, and child protection training, she faithfully walks alongside the unseen and unheard, believing that Christ’s presence in their lives can bring transformation.
