Spiritual Formation for Life and Ministry
Never mind the seats of honour. Just come for a course on spiritual formation, which will be held on June 27.
The term ‘spiritual formation’ describes the life-long process of being shaped by the Holy Spirit into the likeness of Christ. This course introduces us to the principles and process of spiritual formation and its necessity in both life and ministry.
The study includes engaging with personal spiritual disciplines such as prayer, scriptural meditation, silence and solitude, and journaling, as well as corporate spiritual practices such as celebration, worship and service.
The course is jointly organised by Asia Gateway and Peace Community Church.

Profile of lecturer:
Dr Suraja Raman – Missionary with Fairfield Methodist church, Singapore. Currently serving as visiting faculty in Asia, and into research writing. Taught in Kenya, at Africa International University (formetly known as NEGST), 1997 to 2008, now as their adjunct faculty. She has published books on Christian education, Spiritual Development and Missions.
