19 Mar AsiaCMS Launch Dinner Celebration
We would like to thank all those that attended and helped make the launch dinner on 8th March a success. We were delighted to have over 400 people to celebrate with us as we formally launched and thanked God for His provision.
The night was a traditional Chinese 9 course banquet dinner with speeches from Dr Wonsuk Ma, Kang-San and others, as well as song items from the hugely talented Tenors for Christ and Juwita Suwito.
The night was a special occasion for CMS with representatives from UK, New Zealand, Australia & Africa. We also had mission workers from all over Asia from Nepal to Philippines and Pakistan to Korea.
Dr Wonsuk Ma shared on the 1/3 barrier, and his belief that the world Christian population can and will break 1/3 of the total population. He explained the key mission frontier is Asia which has the lowest percentage of Christians of all continents. He invited the attendees to accept the challenge and support AsiaCMS in training and resourcing mission leaders to break the 1/3 barrier.
