If we obey God and follow His call, He is faithful to fulfil His plans and purposes in and through our lives beyond our imagination!
I was reminded of this when God gave me the privilege to join the International Leadership Consortium (ILC) from March 14 to 20 in Singapore together with other International Graduate School of Leadership (IGSL) leaders.ILC is a network of like-minded theological education institutions that seek to equip leaders for transformational impact.
It was a great learning experience for me to hear testimonies of God’s work in different parts of the world. It was heart-touching to hear about the commitment of a leader from Burundi who shared about his challenges and struggles to run a school there.
He started the school alone and did everything from recruiting students, teaching, administration, cleaning, etc. He thought of giving up several times, but God continued to encourage his heart to persevere and continue doing what He has called him to do.
He obeyed God and as a result, they now have a team of teachers and staff who are providing training for business leaders, government leaders and leaders from various NGOs and INGOs in Burundi.
