27 Mar “Fellowship and Encouragement” are Essential to Continue Serving Him
Ashish and Karuna preach, teach at Bible colleges, conduct workshops, counsel, train women, and more in Nepal. In November 2023, Ashish preached to around 400 youths from over 15 churches at a ‘Christ Ambassador’ camp near a mountainous area. God healed and delivered many and on the last day of the camp, around 30 youths committed to serving God in their respective churches. Praise God for His marvellous works!
Doing life with AsiaCMS has helped Ashish and Karuna gain a deeper understanding of mission needs. They are also tremendously encouraged by the testimonies shared by their students, supporters, the churches Ashish preached at, and the music team he works with. Ashish feels accomplished when he visits the graduates he taught; he takes pride in witnessing them develop into leaders who passionately serve God.
As for Karuna, she thanks God for granting her wisdom in her PhD studies. After her panel interview in July, Karuna only had a few months to revise her dissertation. Thanks to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, she managed to revise, strengthen, and resubmit her paper despite the tight deadline.
The visitations from AsiaCMS and the international CMS members have encouraged Ashish and Karuna to continue learning to serve God better. They are immensely grateful for the unwavering support which has empowered them to aim for bigger things. Journeying with the CMS families has also better equipped Ashish for his new role as Country Coordinator.
Pray for good health for Ashish and his family. Pray for provision, strength, and wisdom as Ashish and Karuna continue their studies, travel, meet people and teach different subjects. Karuna is also involved in forming a Christian counsellor’s network in Nepal.
Pray for Ashish in his new role at AsiaCMS as Country Coordinator.
Pray for Karuna who serves as a women dean at Nepal Theological College. She counsels, organises meetings, and participates in college activities. Pray for the NTC’S faculty and students as the second semester has commenced.
