The world at large subscribes to the notion that if there’s a will, there’s a way. However, in the Christian walk, we believe that if we are willing, God will find a way.

Take the case of our co-mission partner Milan Magar. He had the privilege to teach “Christian Leadership” at a pastoral and leadership training centre in far Western Nepal. From where he was based, the journey would usually take 20 hours by bus. But due to a strike, it turned out to be a 44-hour journey. Milan completed the trip nevertheless and went on to conduct a successful training.

In fact, the past three months have seen Milan and his wife Mitung Seng Hkawn conducting many training sessions in various parts of Nepal.

Mitung herself was invited to speak at a women’s conference involving more than 30 churches of the upper region of Eastern Nepal.

More than 140 married women participated in the conference, and some of them walked the whole day to attend the conference.

“My wife also had her regular mentoring sessions with ladies from different churches of Itahari. She has been ministering these married women with mentoring and counselling,” said Milan.

Pray for the blockade and the strike in Terai regions to be lifted so that the people would not have difficulties meeting their daily needs.

The cost for the mentoring ministry has also increased because of the blockade and strike.
