Phal Bhadur Panche Magar from Sarlahi sensed that God has a great purpose for him. But he somehow felt hamstrung and unable to lead a victorious Christian life.

Phal Bhadur testified that he was also not able to actively participate in the church.

His life, however, took a miraculous turn after he availed himself to a three-month leadership training course in Itahari, which is five hours by bus from his village. During his training at the Eastern Leadership Training Centre, he discovered his real purpose in life. He slowly began to answer the Lord’s calling for him to fulfil his destiny.

The class lessons, spiritual discipline and personal coaching, mentoring and counselling helped him to have a passion for his own people Magar and other Maithali people.

Today, he is actively involved in church ministry. He preaches in the worship service, leads home fellowship and shares the gospel with his community and the most unreached people group, the Maithali. He has also started two house churches, one each in his village and a neighbouring village.

It gives us great joy to see our investment in kingdom business bear fruit. Our investment in teaching, equipping, mentoring and counselling has motivated our leaders to give their best in frontline mission works. All glory to God.
