Feeling inadequate to be a useful servant of God? Take heart from the inspiring story of Isha Limbu, a housewife in a Nepali village who used to have difficulty speaking confidently with people. In fact, she had even thought that as a housewife she could not do anything significant outside her home.
But all that changed after Isha, a regular churchgoer in Itahari, completed a training course at the Eastern Leadership Training Centre.
During the training she developed a passion to preach the gospel, and she can now witness boldly. She has led 24 people to Christ after attending the training, which was run by AsiaCMS partner LTD/NCFN.
Isha said she had learned to be a godly wife to her husband and a godly mother to her children. She now leads Bible study at her home and house fellowship.
“Now I believe that women can also do all the things like men,” she said.
