Educational projects improve lives in Nepal

Indira Thapa heads the National Mission Commission of Nepal (NMCN) in Nepal. NMCN fruitfully organized a short-term mission training to Phokhara and Chitwan and a missionary retreat at NTC College which united 36 missionaries.

NMCN also oversees two educational projects in slum areas: Thapathali Tuition Centre and Godawari Tuition Centre. Both centres are attended by 50 children from government schools who can’t afford extra tuition classes. The centres provide snacks and have helped the children improve significantly in their studies by providing quality educational support. Additionally, the Godawari Tuition Centre provides books, bags, and clothes each year.

In the upcoming months, NMCN plans to distribute school dress, bags, and stationaries to Thapathali and one of the government schools. It is also on NMCN’s agenda to visit both tuition centres and to organize a community awareness program for the community.

Pray for good health, financial provision, and God’s guidance for the missionaries and their families as well as the members and families of NMCN and the board.

Pray for the needs of the centres to be met, safety for the volunteer teachers, and wisdom for the children who will be sitting for their exams.

Pray for the upcoming programs including AGM to go smoothly.
