Sanjay was referred to ESCAPE at the age of 16 through the legal system. He was at one of the remand homes before he was referred to ESCAPE. Sanjay received residential counselling at our respite home. During his stay with us he learnt to manage his anger and also to work as a team. We noticed good leadership qualities in him.

SACYN 2015 has successfully concluded in New Delhi with the eyes of its core leaders firmly focused on the journey ahead, including in mission-related initiatives involving youth groups of churches.
Twenty-four participants from South Asia gathered at the Gandhi Peace Foundation to map out the way forward based on reflective evaluation of the three years of training module which was completed in 2014.

My husband Alan Hamilton and I set off on a mission trip with a deep desire to learn more about the life of Christians in Cambodia, the Khmer culture, and how we can be of service to God in that country.
It was a heady mix of experiences in our field exposure trip from 11th to 18th of July 2015. We enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of the locals. Still, challenges abounded.
SACYN 2015, a reflective-planning gathering, is aimed at building on the three years of training module which was completed in 2014.
Themed 'Spirituality and Integrity in Youth Leadership', it is being held at the Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi, India, from Oct 16 to Oct 20.
It is focusing on a reflection on the journey of SACYN for the past 12 years, as well as plan for the future in the light of those reflections. The reflective-planning sessions will be complemented with serious interactive sessions on Christian leadership, facilitated by senior church and mission leaders.

A massive earthquake measuring 7.8 Richter magnitude struck Nepal on 25th April this year, claiming the lives of several thousands, causing property loss worth billions of dollars, and unleashing mental and physical health problems. Experts in the field had been anticipating earthquake in Nepal for decades but besides the awareness campaign, the country's preparation for the disaster was almost zilch. Had the countrymen been a little more cautious and prepared, the disaster wouldn't have led to a tragic end for many.
