An immersion in a rural setting in a faraway land similar to my own has helped me in rediscovering and reformulating my objectives in life and ministry. My field exposure trip to Cambodia between the 11th and 18th of July 2015 has impacted me in more ways than one.

I’ve always treasured those occasions of interfaith sharing and learning.

Jose What do you expect a drug rehabilitation centre to look like? Ya, I was expecting something like a closed place, which keeps the people indoors to prevent them from falling prey to the temptation again! Most rehab centres which I visited before were instrumental in creating such a picture in me.

By extension, mission training should be a good blend of the core principles of theology and the practicalities of everyday life. It is on this premise that Asia Gateway Training (AGT) kicked off its seven-week residential programme on cross-cultural mission training at Seminari Theologi Malaysia in Seremban on June 21.
